Introduction to the START profiling 5 stage belief behaviour cycle – the most innovative thing to hit personal development since NLP?

Hi, Jon Chase here,
I’m guessing that because you are into personal development, self discovery, life enhancement, that you probably have shelves full of material some of which you’ve found useful and lots you didn’t. In my experience that’s usually because what ever it is these fantastic things teach they nearly all want you to start in a specific way. It’s a bit like getting you to start a jigsaw only with the top left corner.

Sadly it’s this that often stops you getting the very best from your investment, from you’re very personal jigsaw.
Personal development and self help guides are almost a new religion. Billions are spent on it every year. The sad fact is they only seem to work for around 20% of the people who buy them. That’s just a 1/5th success rate, remember that, 1 in 5, and an 80% failure rate.

When I read that I thought why is that?

“You name it, I’ve had a look. DISC profiling and Wealth Dynamics amongst others. Tony Robbins programmes, the Bob Proctor programmes. Brian Tracey, Joe Vitale, The Secret, The Missing Secret, Think and Grow Rich etc. etc. etc.

Each one of these has its merits but I never really knew how or why. Then I discovered the START profiling system. Since I found out that I am an ‘Evaluator’ my approach to everything I do has changed and the results I get from tasks are of better quality and more enjoyable. The START profiling system has added masses of value to me as an individual and really has ‘changed my life.”

Would you like to know the one thing about you that will make all the other bits fall into place?

The thing that will make all of those secrets of success and wealth and development really work at last?

“All my life I have been told to stop dreaming and start doing something real! Since discovering that it is my strength to dream, all my past behaviour has now clicked with me and I have permission to do it deliberately. But now I know how to use it to my advantage and it has made a huge difference in my life and has taken years of stress, pressure and guilt off me, giving me the freedom to be me and work in my way.”
Jane Bregazzi- MD & entrepreneur

Over the last thirty years my experience dealing with the mind has led me to observe that the cycle of belief and behaviour we apply to everything has five stages and that those five stages have five corresponding personality types, and it’s these that determine our behavioural strengths and the best way to begin the best way to start any project, venture or even the rest of our lives.

The five stages are:

EXPERIENCE
Stuff happens to us, around us and of course because of us.

INTERPRETATION
That stuff gets filed away and we decide it’s meaning to us.

EXPECTATION
Based on the meaning we build an expectation of what’s going to happen next time the same or similar stuff occurs.

IMAGINATION
To sort of cement that expectation, to give it form, we imagine it in all of it’s glorious detail.

ACTION
We do something. We act. And of course it’s doing something, going somewhere, connecting with the world that gives us our next experience.

And so it’s a cycle. It goes around and around.
It can’t go in reverse and you can’t jump stages.
If you try to do that then whatever you are doing will fail
and you will go back to your PRIMARY stage,
to your STARTING position.

Now everyone has at least one major primary stage. Your strength comes from starting the cycle here.

Those who are strongest around the Experience stage have a primary state that we call the Observer.
They are the watchers, they’ll see all the detail and make fantastic reporters. They also have great empathy.

Next we have the Evaluators who’s primary strength is theInterpretor. They study the detail and balance everything carefully and plan.

Expectation gives us the Predictors. Cautious and dependable these practical people also have focus and attraction among their primary strength.

A Dreamer is the corresponding strength type for Imagination. A little introspective these folks are the optimists and creators.

And it’s the Action stage where we find the impulsively decisive action takers, the only fitting term for these people is of course the Performer.

Now these are your primary strengths.

Of course you do ALL of these as you go round the cycle. You’re doing that now for everything including what I’m saying. However, although you can and do go through all five stages it’s your strength that will give you the best return for your effort.

Now I’m going to give you a free gift. Just click START on the index bar above, or at DearJon.tv if you are reading this in your RSS feed, and do your own profile – it will take you about 4 minutes including reading the instructions. Not much time to spend to find out WHY you are WHO you are and how to use your strengths.

“When I was going through school, I always found myself at odds with teachers because of the way they wanted me to learn. It didn’t stop me learning, but it made it less than fun at times.

Since profiling with Start, I’ve had my approach recognised and validated. Not only that, I find myself able to see that I can apply this approach to all walks of life. It’s nice to be able to take MY approach and be able to convert other systems more easily now.”
